Number Munchers

I recently took a trip down memory lane when CNN posted an article about the top 20 gadgets of the 1980s.  In an oddly sentimental way, I remember and used nearly all of them.  (and to some extent, still do.  My NES is connected and – though it freezes – is ready for DuckHunt or Marble Madness any night of the week.)I started thinking back to my early introduction to technology:  math games like Number Munchers that ran from DOS.  I was amazing at this game.  It wasn’t that long ago…There was a time when I didn’t have a cell phone, which is mind-blowing.  It’s like hearing the sound of a typewriter.  I used to tape a show instead of DVR it.  (My sister and I had a tape labeled, “Must See TV – Thursday”.)Here’s the article – hopefully it sparks some memories for you:http://money.cnn.com/gallery/technology/2016/03/25/80s-tech/index.html
